Announcing guest soloist with the Youth Symphony
Salem Youth Symphony is very excited to announce that Fred Korman, Principal Oboist of the Oregon Symphony from 1978 to 2006, will be our soloist on the December 12th
Concert. Currently on the faculty of Oregon State University and principal oboist of the OSU-Corvallis Symphony, Mr. Korman maintains an active career as a player, teacher and consultant on performance anxiety. He will be performing the Marcello Oboe Concerto with us. Fred Korman's website

Visit us July 7 at the "First Wednesday" celebration in downtown Salem
The July 7 First Wednesday celebration will include live music at 8 locations in downtown Salem between 5 and 8 pm. Several members of the Salem Youth Symphony groups will perform.
