Concerto Competition winner
Five Youth Symphony musicians participated in SYSA's annual concerto competition on January 29:
Zachary Gulaboff-Davis, piano; Jennifer Jordan, cello; Sierra Schmeltzer, flute; Jacob Bonn, cello; Zachary Broberg, trombone
Thank you to all five of them for their fine performances!
The winner is Zachary Gulaboff-Davis who performed Piano Concerto No. 1, mvt 1, by Beethoven. Congratulations to Zachary!

Youth Symphony group- string players
Violins and violas- we now have bowings for the Smetana. Please copy the bowings into your own parts. Thank you for doing this.
Bowings for the cellos and basses will be ready soon.
Next rehearsal is Monday, January 24 except Mozart Players*
Amadeus Players - at North Salem High School, Monday, January 24, 6:30 - 8:00 pm.
Philharmonia - at North Salem High School, Monday, January 24, 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
Youth Symphony group - at Parrish Middle School, Monday, January 24, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Note: rehearsal at Parrish.
*The Mozart Players will resume rehearsals one week later than the other three groups, on January 31.
