Rehearsals for the next semester begin on Monday, January 13, 2014 for:

•     Amadeus Players
•     Philharmonia
•     Youth Symphony group

Note:  The Mozart Players begin the next semester on Monday, January 27.

Sunday, December 8 Winter Concert

Smith Auditorium, Willamette University (map and campus map)

Musicians: please enter the door to Find Arts West, which is just beyond the door to Smith Auditorium.

Cellos and basses: You can be dropped off by the Smith delivery door if you wish (on the west side of the building; driveway is off of Winter Street).  However, please be aware that the turnaround space for cars is not large at all!

Amadeus Players	Rehearsal at 1:15 pm	Arrive 10-15 minutes early. Violins & violas unpack in upstairs room. Cellos & basses unpack in backstage hall.	Tuning & rehearsal on the stage at 1:15 pm.
Mozart Players	Rehearsal at 1:45 pm	Arrive 10-15 minutes early. Violins & violas unpack in upstairs room. Cellos & basses unpack in backstage hall.	Tuning at 1:45 pm.
Philharmonia	Rehearsal at 2:15 pm	Arrive 10-15 minutes early. Unpack in the Band room behind the stage.	Rehearsal in the Band room at 2:15 pm.
Youth Symphony	Rehearsal at 12:45 - NEW TIME to allow rehearsal with soloist	Arrive 10-15 minutes early. NEW: unpack in auditorium (temporarily)	Rehearsal with Mr. Taylor on stage at 12:45 pm.

Audience:  

Auditorium will be closed while Amadeus and Mozart are rehearsing on the stage.  The building itself will be open and you can wait in the foyer until the curtains open.

Curtains into the auditorium will open about 2:40 pm.  

Mozart and Amadeus families:

Please have someone meet your student after they perform so they can find and sit with you in the auditorium.

The applications for Youth Symphony's concerto competition are due at the dress rehearsal this Saturday, December 7.

DVDs of the Winter Concert

Our concert will be recorded by Jeff Hart of Allied Video Productions. 

Order form: If you would like to purchase a DVD ($15), you can return the order form at any upcoming rehearsals, at the concert, or mail it to us.

DVDs can be picked up beginning December 19 at Willamette Valley Music Company or at our rehearsals in January.

Concert Clothes

Mozart Players & Amadeus Players
    Girls: White top with 3/4 length or longer sleeves. Black pants or skirt that covers the knees when seated. Black closed-toe shoes.
    Boys: White long-sleeve, button-down shirt. Black bow tie. Black pants. Black closed-toe shoes, black socks.

Philharmonia & Youth Symphony
    Girls: Head-to-toe black outfit. No sleeveless. If wearing a skirt or dress, it should cover the knees when seated. Black closed-toe shoes.
    Boys: White long-sleeve, button-down shirt. Black bow tie. Black pants. Black closed-toe shoes, black socks. Black vest or jacket optional.

Tickets for the Winter Concert can be purchased:

1.) at our rehearsals at the table in North Salem High School,

2.) at Willamette Valley Music Company, 484 State Steet in Salem.  Map.

Tickets will also be available at the door before the concert.

Adults $10, students and seniors $5.
